Artist Statement: 
Many say that viewing the world through rose colored glasses is silly and unrealistic, because there is not all good in the world. Which is true, but don't we all need to be unrealistic sometimes? Even when we know everything is going bad, we want to know, and need to know, there is something good to come.
 
This painting creates a world where we can see what we want. A field of roses in a peach dreamlike backdrop, that gives us the feeling of warm and love that we need. The feeling that we want always.
