Pride in Petals was live painted during the Worthington Pride Festival as a visual celebration of love, unity, and joy. Set against a dreamy blue-purple background, the roses—purple, pink, and yellow—represent the diversity, beauty, and resilience found within the LGBTQ+ community. Each petal carries the spirit of chosen family, unapologetic self-expression, and the tenderness that connects us.
As we honor Pride Month and look toward the Columbus celebrations, this piece is my tribute to the love that makes these moments so powerful. Through color and bloom, I wanted to reflect what Pride truly means: not just visibility, but connection, care, and celebration.
